Florida get's scrapped and an updated website.

So in my last post I was all geared up to go to florida, and I won't deny a fair amount of excitement for the journey. But on the very day upon which my father and I had every intention of loading up the truck with scrap metal and welding equipment and taking off, I made a brief stop at my local steel fabricators (Brakewell) to pick up a last couple pieces of scrap and bid adieu to a couple fellow steel workers and friends. However during my visit it was made clear to me that a corner of the fabrication facility could easily be converted into a small workspace to which I could have access. Now the warmth of florida is certainly tempting, but being around the machinery and scrap produced by Brakewell is quite frankly a much more enticing offer. So it looks like I'll be weathing the storm in the north east this year, though I'm sure I'll find my way out of it somehow.

Anyway, in other news, I just totally streamlined and updated my website, check it out and let me know what you think: www.zacmax.com

Moving to florida. And some new sculpturesc

So, due to the bitter cold which is quickly curtailing my productive work time, I have decided to rent out a shop in sunny southern Florida for the bulk (all) of this coming winter to continue cranking out these little sculptures.

Here's two recent sculptures which deviate a little from the 6" minis which I've been producing so steadily for the last three or so months.
